David Fenn

Live-In Therapist

Bio

Since 2018, I have worked as a live-in therapist, bringing over thirty years of experience in therapeutic, leadership, and management roles across the drug and alcohol and mental health sectors. This experience spans residential, community, and home settings, as well as private practice, and has given me a broad, adaptable understanding of how to support clients wherever they are.

Across these settings, I have worked with individuals, families, and services navigating a wide range of issues, from alcohol and drug misuse and dependency to eating disorders, trauma, and other mental health concerns. My work has taken me across the UK, New Zealand, and Europe, giving me a cross-cultural perspective on care that I bring into every client relationship.

I am passionate about providing clients with quality, personalised support that offers the best possible opportunity for sustainable, long-term wellbeing. I am a qualified addictions counsellor and psychotherapist, and a member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
